M&S attorneys continue to update and inform businesses and industry associations across highly regulated industries on the constantly evolving Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Partner Michele Shuster and Senior Attorney Adam Todd addressed an audience of auto industry counsel April 23rd at the National Association of Dealer Counsel’s (NADC) Annual Member Conference.
Titled “TCPA Compliance 2018 – What You Must Know Before Calling or Texting Consumers,” the session provided an overview of the TCPA and the impact of the recent D.C. Circuit Ruling striking down the FCC’s 2015 TCPA Omnibus Declaratory Ruling, how the TCPA affects dealers’ marketing and customer contact initiatives, and steps dealerships can to take to reduce the risk of noncompliance.
