Montgomery Recognized as One of Ohio’s Trailblazing Women Attorneys

MPS Of Counsel Attorney Betty Montgomery is featured this month in the Ohio State Bar Association’s Ohio Lawyer Magazine as one of five of Ohio’s trailblazing women attorneys. Betty was recognized for her excellence in law and contributions to the profession along with other distinguished leaders including Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor.

When it comes to women in law, Ohio stands ahead of the curve with women representing 41% of attorneys, compared with 36% nationally. In fact, any discussion of Ohio’s history of women in law without mention of Betty Montgomery would be incomplete. Betty has achieved a number of significant “firsts” in her career, including Ohio’s first woman Attorney General and Ohio’s first woman Auditor of State. Long a supporter of women in the legal field and generous with her time and insight, she continues to be a role model and inspiration to many.

Congratulations, Betty!
