At its open meeting on March 21, 2024, the FTC presented its finalized amendment to the Telephone Sales Rule, extending coverage to B2B calls and imposing new recordkeeping requirements. The Commission also proposed a new amendment seeking application of the TSR to inbound calls by consumers for technology support services.
