Aaron counsels M&S clients across numerous highly-regulated industries, helping them understand and comply with state and federal laws related to privacy and data security, marketing, teleservices, and other consumer protection matters. Through his comprehensive monitoring and review program, he ensures clients are informed and armed with the most up-to-date legislative developments, legal interpretations, and enforcement trends.

From startups to Fortune 10 companies, Aaron has advised dozens of businesses on privacy and data protection matters, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other state privacy laws, and the patchwork of federal privacy laws, such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). Aaron also supports the firm’s litigation practice area and has assisted clients throughout the litigation process, from responding to pre-litigation demands to preparing legal memoranda.

A bona fide football champion, Aaron played Center for NCAA Division I National Champions The Ohio State Buckeyes, where he was also recognized for his leadership abilities by being selected to the Bert L. Wolstein Leadership Academy. To the benefit of his clients, he brings the same values that brought him success on the field – an exceptional work ethic, integrity, and team-first mentality – to his legal practice.

  • Assisted numerous clients with implementing telemarketing and data privacy management programs to achieve compliance objectives.
  • Compiled 50-state surveys on regulatory practices for telemarketing, licensing, privacy, data breaches, and consumer protection laws.
  • Drafted and negotiated commercial agreements including master services, reseller, data privacy, privacy policies, terms of use, and business formation agreements.
  • Conducted comprehensive audits and compliance evaluations related to privacy and other consumer protection regulatory demands.
  • Helped multiple clients design and implement automotive renewal programs to comply with evolving state laws
  • Advised clients on responding to civil investigative demands, subpoenas, and consumer complaints from state and federal regulators.
