Senior Attorney Chris Ramdeen brings significant experience advising and litigating matters involving consumer protection, privacy, data security, and telemarketing laws. Before joining Mac Murray & Shuster, Chris spent nearly a decade at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where he represented the State of Ohio in enforcement actions and complex litigation involving deceptive trade practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory compliance. His background gives him a practical, enforcement‑informed perspective that helps businesses understand regulatory expectations and manage risk.
Drawing on his firsthand experience enforcing consumer protection laws at the state level, Chris advises businesses on TCPA exposure, telemarketing regulation, privacy enforcement, and data‑driven marketing practices. He brings an “inside understanding” of how regulators evaluate compliance and build cases, providing clients with a strategic advantage when responding to regulatory inquiries, defending against enforcement actions and litigation, and proactively reducing regulatory risk.
Outside of his legal practice, Chris is fluent in Japanese and has a background in creative writing and film.
