We’re pleased to welcome Chris Ramdeen to Mac Murray & Shuster as a Senior Attorney. Bringing extensive experience in consumer protection and privacy law, Chris joins our legal team helping businesses manage regulatory challenges, enforcement risk, and evolving compliance obligations.
Before joining the firm, Chris spent nearly a decade with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where he served in the Consumer Protection Section representing the state in enforcement actions and complex litigation involving deceptive trade practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory compliance. During his tenure, he participated in multistate investigations involving privacy, telemarketing, and emerging technologies, helped oversee Ohio’s Telephone Solicitation Sales Act registration process, and represented state agencies in trial‑level and appellate litigation.
Drawing on his firsthand enforcement experience, Chris will advise clients on proactively managing regulatory risk and provide defense against litigation and enforcement activity. His background offers clients a practical, behind‑the‑scenes understanding of how regulators evaluate compliance programs, investigate alleged violations, and pursue enforcement actions—insight that is particularly valuable for companies navigating evolving consumer protection and privacy rules.
Chris earned his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio. Outside of his legal practice, he speaks Japanese and has a background in creative writing and film.
Welcome, Chris!
