M&S Welcomes New Attorneys to its Litigation and Compliance Teams
We are excited to announce the recent addition of two new attorneys to Mac Murray & Shuster!
Senior Attorney Ben Sigall joins our Litigation team, bringing substantial experience in general civil litigation and complex commercial litigation. Ben has more than a decade of wide-ranging experience in regional firms, and as an assistant law director and prosecuting attorney with government entities at the city, county, and state level, including the Ohio Office of the Attorney General. He has litigated and advised on complex matters in highly-regulated industries such as financial services, automotive, collections, healthcare, and consumer marketing. Ben’s practice focuses on representing businesses in complex civil and class action litigation, primarily related to consumer protection and privacy concerns.
Ben holds a J.D. from Duquesne University School of law, summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University. He is admitted to the Bar in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Associate Michael Dunn joins our Compliance team, where his practice focuses on helping businesses understand and comply with state and federal advertising, privacy, and telemarketing laws and regulations. Michael has extensive experience in guiding clients through all phases of litigation and governmental investigations. He brings previous regulatory experience with the North Carolina Office of the Attorney General, where he worked with multiple divisions including the Law Enforcement Liaison Division and the Property Control Division; and at the University of North Carolina, where he helped employees and teaching staff comply with state funding authorities and managed hundreds of Title IX investigations through the University’s Equal Opportunity & Compliance Office.
Michael received his J.D. from Campbell University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Denison University. He is admitted to the Bar in North Carolina, and will sit for the Ohio Bar Exam in July.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ben and Michael to the M&S team,” said Partner Michele Shuster. “Not only are they exceptionally talented, but equally important, they share our passion for delivering unsurpassed client service. Their experience with regulatory agencies gives them a unique perspective that will serve our clients well. I know the variety and depth of experience they bring will complement our practice areas and bring significant value to our clients when navigating complex compliance and litigation challenges.”
