M&S Welcomes Two New Attorneys To Its Team

We are excited to share the recent addition of two new attorneys to the M&S legal team!

Lori Mininger is Of Counsel to M&S, and brings over a decade of experience advising financial institutions of applicable federal and state regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and industry self-regulatory regimes. Lori previously served in-house as both Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel, and understands firsthand the challenges our clients face in trying to meet their compliance obligations without unnecessarily impeding business goals. In her former roles, Lori developed substantial experience building, implementing, and maintaining risk-based regulatory compliance management programs.

Lori also has an exceptional foundation in data privacy and other consumer protection laws. She is accredited as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) in both the U.S. and Canada, as well as in the technical areas of Government and Information Technology.

Associate Kari Roush joins our litigation team, bringing substantial experience in general civil litigation and complex commercial litigation. Kari has represented clients through all stages of litigation in both state and federal court, and has litigated a wide range of legal issues including breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, enforcement of restrictive covenants, fraud and misrepresentation, and business torts.

Kari has substantial experience with complex commercial and consumer arbitration proceedings. Her work with corporate clients also includes advising on issues related to employee privacy and the legality of employee monitoring, onboarding and offboarding procedures designed to protect trade secrets and intellectual property, obscure consumer protection statutes, and the pitfalls of poorly drafted terms and conditions.

We welcome these two outstanding attorneys, who have hit the ground running and are already delivering great value to our clients. Welcome Lori and Kari!
